Treat Everyone As An Individual
As a teacher, it is my responsibility to understand that every child has a different way of learning that works best for them. There is a theory by Howard Gardner about multiple intelligences, which tells eight ways that people learn. They are linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. To get a better idea of what each of these are, please go to this website called Concept to Classroom. I believe that by using a variety of different strategies while I am teaching, I will connect to all of the children in a way that they can understand the subject matter better.
