This is my seventh year of teaching Kindergarten and I'm so excited to have such a great class! I graduated from Concordia University with my Masters in Teaching, and before that I graduated from Oregon State University with my Bachelors in Early Education. I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher, and I come from a long line of teachers in my family.
I absolutely love to travel, and was very fortunate growing up to have both parents be teachers, so every summer we would go on family vacations. I have continued that love for travel as I've grown up and I have had the chance to live in Australia for a year and New York for four months, and I have visited many different places.
I am married and we have a son who is 1 years old! My husband's name is Mack and he works for PGE. Our son's name is Griffin and he is such a joy to us! He is fearless, sweet, and is always surprising us! We also have a Boston Terrier named Paisley, she is 13 years old!
I'm really excited for all of the new opportunities and challenges this year will bring. I am looking forward to helping each and every one of my students build the foundational skills they will need to be successful in school and in life, as well as inspiring them to love learning!
